The Rwanda exhibition was designed for the Institute of Anthropology and African Studies of the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.
Having taken place in both – Germany as well as Rwanda – the whole text had to be translated and set into the local language of Kinyarwanda. The featured zigzag elements are typical African patterns. One of my first projects as an intern at U9 visuelle Allianz in 2008, this was a very fun job.
